Facilities
(Please click on thumb nails below for more detailed pictures)

The first thing that you will notice about our training facilities are the tranquil settings and the total calm that surrounds the training ground. Horses are ridden from the stables and go under the main road to find themselves in a horse's paradise.

Corridors of gallops are protected by magnificent beech trees. As the horses warm up in the collection center you can hear a pip drop. No dodging the traffic as you cross the busy Newmarket roads or the motorbikes that can be found on the Ridgeway of the Berkshire downs. Here is a place that the horse rules and man comes second.

The next striking thing that you will notice are the miles of all weather and grass gallops. The surface is very different from the wood bark or artificial surfaces that you find in the UK. This surface is pure sand and earth not too deep that the horses slog there way through it, about 10 cm, the perfect surface for training and keeping horses sound.

The only vehicle that can be heard is the carefully driven tractor that rakes the gallops every 10 minutes.

As you walk from gallop to gallop the all weather gives way to miles of beautifully prepared grass. As you break through the trees onto these grass gallops your breath is taken away with the beauty and size of these facilities.

National hunt fences, starting stalls and other helpful trainers that eagerly lend a helping hand when you need it makes Chantilly one, if not the best, place to train a racehorse in Europe.

You have to come to visit me to truly experience what we have to offer but the next best thing is to click on the small pictures at the bottom of the screen for some detailed images of our training facilities.
