FAQs
-
Investment Breakdown:
-
Approximately half of the investment will be allocated towards purchasing or shares in horses. The other half will cover various operational expenses, including training fees, transport, France Galop fees, and veterinary expenses.
-
-
Projected Costs:
-
The cost of keeping a full horse with Nicolas is approximately €3,000-€3,500 per month, excluding taxes. As a registered company, we are able to recover taxes, minimizing this expense. Our initial plan for the first year includes a balanced mix of yearlings (mostly in partnership) and horses that are ready to race (owned fully or in partnership), with the primary goal of retaining the silks. Please note that transportation costs are subsidized on an annual basis up to 60%.
-
-
Licensing for Shareholders:
-
Shareholders do not need to be licensed. However, they will have the opportunity to request an owner's badge, granting free access to all racecourses in France for them and one guest.
-
-
Events and Barn Visits:
-
Racing France will host at least four barn visits per year and additional events whenever our horses run. We also plan to organize special events during major race days like the Arc and Diane, as well as stable visits to enhance the ownership experience.
-
-
Prize Money and Disbursement:
-
All prize money earned during the two-year period will be retained within the company to cover ongoing expenses. At the end of this period, remaining funds will be distributed among the shareholders. We aim to achieve positive financial outcomes, benefiting all stakeholders. Please note that in case of extraordinary results (sales proceeds or prize-money), we will have the possibility to issue a special dividend before the end of the two-year period.

-
Managing Racecourse Attendance:
-
We have extensive experience in managing group attendance at racecourses, thanks to our success with Shamrock Racing. We will ensure that shareholders have a memorable experience both on and off the track, even during major events where large numbers of owners may wish to attend.
-
-
Communication and Updates:
-
Regular updates on the horses will be provided by Nicolas, Charlotte and Thibault through WhatsApp and The Racing Manager (TRM). Thibault will also be available to answer any questions you may have, ensuring open and continuous communication.
-
-
Flexibility in Horse Ownership:
-
We acknowledge that the percentage of ownership and the number of horses will impact expenses. While our current plan is based on certain assumptions, it remains flexible and subject to change as we adapt to the needs and opportunities that arise.
